WHY WE PROCESS YOUR DATA

  • operate the Services;

  • in-game chat messages; and

  • data about your device, such as device name and operating system, browser type and language;

  • we also may create a Good Gaming Inc. and/or game-specific ID for you when you use the Services.

We process personal collected or enriched with data from our partners:

  • demographic data (such as to determine the coarse location of your IP address);
  • data to fight fraud (such as refund abuse in games);
  • data from platforms that the games run on (such as to verify payment); and
  • data for advertising and analytics purposes, so we can keep improving our games.

Social features are a core component of our games. Other players and users may, for example, see your profile data, in-game activities and read the messages you have posted.

Partners working for Good Gaming Inc.

Good Gaming Inc. has partners to perform certain services on our behalf. These partners process your data only at and according to Good Gaming Inc.’s instructions in order to provide the Services, such as hosting, player support, advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.

Good Gaming Inc.’s development partners

Good Gaming Inc. may publish games developed or maintained by other game development companies. These development partners may process your Personal Data for the purposes described herein and where applicable, working as joint controllers of the processed data together with Good Gaming Inc. Other companies and public authorities

In order to combat fraud and illegal activity, we may exchange data with other companies and organizations and provide it to public authorities in response to lawful requests.

We may also disclose your data based on your consent, to comply with the law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our players or others.

Advertising and social media partners

Special Notification for California Residents — Your California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA“), California residents have certain rights around Good Gaming Inc.’s collection, use, and sharing of their personal information. California law permits users of the Services that are California residents to request certain information regarding our collection and disclosure of personal information. California Do Not Track Disclosure: Note that we do not respond to browser do-not-track (DNT) signals.

If you are a resident of California, you have the right to request to know what personal information has been collected about you, and to access such information. You also have the right to request deletion of your personal information, though exceptions under the CCPA may allow Good Gaming Inc. to retain and use certain personal information notwithstanding your deletion request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA. An agent may submit a request on your behalf, but you must verify that your agent is authorized to do so.

California privacy rights requests must include the reference “Request for California Privacy Information” in the subject line, and in the body of the message, and must include an email address or mailing address that we may use for the response. We reserve the right not to respond to requests submitted other than as specified above.

DATA RETENTION

We will keep your Personal Data for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide you with the Services or to comply with any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. We periodically delete or de-identify inactive accounts or other data in our Services.

After the applicable retention period, we will either delete or de-identify your Personal Data or, if neither deletion or de-identification is possible (for example, due to data being stored on a backup server), isolate your data from further processing until deletion or de-identification is possible. We may continue to use any data that is not identifiable to you (for example, aggregated data).

Your rights regarding your Personal Data

You have the right to a copy of your personal information to be supplied to you in an electronic format upon request.

You also have the right to correct your data, have your data deleted, object to how we use or share your data, and the right to restrict how we use or share your data. If certain Personal Data is processed based on consent given by you, such consent can also be withdrawn by you at any time, for example in the applicable game’s settings.

We will respond to all requests within a reasonable time frame. If you live in the European Economic Area and have an unresolved privacy or data use concern that we have not addressed satisfactorily, please contact your local data protection authority within the European Economic Area for unresolved complaints.

Opt-out of targeted advertising

You can always opt-out of directed advertising in our games by checking the privacy settings of your device or by using the applicable opt-out function provided by Good Gaming Inc.’s Partners. If you do not want third-party advertisers to collect your information for the purpose of sending you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by clicking here.
